Farthest Frontier is the game for players who liked Banished's premise — a fragile frontier settlement fighting hunger, disease, and weather — but wanted more systemic depth under the hood. Soil quality actually matters for farming, disease spreads believably through your population, and raids are a real threat rather than set-piece events. It doesn't reinvent the survival-settlement formula the way Manor Lords or Timberborn do, but it executes the classic version of it with more granularity than almost anything else in the genre.
