Foundry's pitch is simple: what if Minecraft's voxel freedom met factory automation directly, instead of automation being bolted onto a survival-crafting loop? You can carve and build in full 3D while running belts and machines through the terrain you've shaped, which gives it a level of structural freedom Satisfactory and Factorio don't really offer. It's still early access and lighter on late-game content than its more established peers, but for players who want their factory to also be a piece of architecture, it's doing something genuinely different.
